Requirements

Who should apply.

TPC is recruiting licensed and registered clinicians, including LMFTs and Registered Associate MFTs, with the education, credentials, skills, and faith alignment below.

Education and qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Valid California licensure or registration. TPC does not hire student trainees.
  • Commitment to Christian faith integration and the values and ethics of a faith-based counseling environment.
  • Ongoing continuing education, training, and professional development.

Associates must have completed their master's degree, be fully registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, and have received a BBS registration number.

  • Communicate clearly, compassionately, and professionally.
  • Identify issues, form plans, and implement practical clinical solutions.
  • Lead with empathy and compassion.
  • Understand Christian doctrine and integrate Christian principles effectively.

What you will do

  • Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions that can incorporate Christian values.
  • Assess client needs and progress through interviews, observation, and psychological testing when appropriate.
  • Develop and update treatment plans using clinical experience and Christian ethics.
  • Follow up with clients and adjust care as needed.
  • Participate in community outreach that reflects TPC's Christian counseling mission.
